Water Fountain Project

This is my 23rd year of teaching here at Sugar Creek Elementary. Over the years I have added a student gallery that lines the halls around the entire school. But there has always been a spot above the drinking fountains that needed something. After finishing the Sugar Creek Elementary, it dawned on me I could do something similar. I decided to paint a set of four individual 12-inch canvases with a letter on each. These would spell out a positive word the kids would see each time they went to the drinking fountain. The first one, HOPE, took forever. But soon I got into the groove and finished four more. I still have two to go but those should be finished during the next school year.
