Fall Break Video Shoot!

Fall Break is here! Now what to do?  My plan is to go back to my classroom and continue making short instructional videos for my students. In a TAB classroom, students are considered the artists but that doesn't mean they know everything they need to know. Sometimes they need reminded on how to do things or use a certain tool. This is where the videos come in. My room is separated into several small studios for creating: Drawing, Painting, Collage, Clay, Construction, Architecture, Digital Tool, and Weaving. There are several smaller, ephemeral studios that open throughout the year, but the ones mentioned earlier are the main ones. Mass Arts own John Crowe once said " A well designed center is a 3-dimensional lesson plan" So with this in mind, I want to have available videos for kids to watch either in school or out. Posted in the center will be QR codes that will link to the videos. All a student needs to do is scan that code and they will be taken to the video that corresponds with that code. It a very easy and fun way to deliver content to the students.
