This last week I finished a book that I read on a whim. It showed up in my Amazon Prime reading list so I gave it a go. All I can say is I'm glad I did! It was an amazing book. It supplements all the educational philosophies that I believe: Constructivism, Teaching for Artistic Behavior and others, but from a Makers point of view. It covers the history, philosophy, and research for teachers to use in their classrooms. Why is it important to help get think about and figure things out for themselves. Why we should include more play in the classroom and let the children's natural curiosity take the lead in their education.
